Then what?
Adoptions are handled exclusively via email. Once you've contacted the organization, they’ll schedule a viewing at Kattslussen where you’ll meet with one of their adoption coordinators. If all goes well, you can take your cat home at a time that suits you. When you pick up your cat, you’ll sign an adoption contract transferring ownership from Kattslussen to you.
Adoption fee?
A cat from Kattslussen costs 1500 SEK and comes vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and ID-marked.
Kittens are vaccinated and dewormed before adoption. When they reach about 6 months and become sexually mature, Kattslussen covers the cost of neutering and ID-marking—if done at a partner clinic and approved in advance.
