A small charity with a big heart LiFeline Syd is to help homeless cats have a chance at a better life. The shelter is located in central Malmö and provides food, veterinary care, love, attention, and a temporary home for 10 cats at a time until we can find forever homes for them.

How to adopt?
Our platform does not directly assist with the adoption process. We simply provide information to help you more easily search for animal shelters. All adoption procedures must be handled through the respective organizations. This ensures we do not interfere with their operations. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact us!
Visiting by email to the organization:
If you are interested in adopting a cat then write them an email at LiFeline.adoption@outlook.com.
From there you will get a reply from us with standard questions. Your answers will help them make sure they have a cat that matches your needs. During this step you can visit some of their cats.

Once you have decided on a cat to adopt we do a home-visit to make sure the cat is moving to a suitable place. During this visit, we ask and answer questions, and help you identify possible risks in your home that might be unsafe for cats.
Then what?
Once you are approved, the adoption can proceed. You prepare your home for your new family member and can get ready to pick up your cat at the shelter with a transport crate. Once there, you will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fees (Swish or Bankgiro).
The shelter will provide you with a contact person that you can contact for advice during the first weeks. The organization loves to receive updates so please keep them uodated how things are going!
Adoption fee?
Adult: 2000 SEK
Kitten: 2000 SEk
The fees cover food, shelter and supplies, vaccination and neutering.
